India-first pricing & UPI

Rupee pricing, Razorpay billing, GSTIN-ready invoices, and WhatsApp, MSG91 and FreJun in the same CRM.

Autocloz prices its Growth, Pro and Scale plans in rupees and bills them through Razorpay as recurring subscriptions, so a subscriber's charge does not move with the exchange rate. Every paid charge issues an invoice PDF carrying the GSTIN and state from your billing profile. WhatsApp through Meta, SMS on a DLT-registered MSG91 sender and FreJun calling connect to the same workspace.

The problem

What selling from India asks of a CRM

Selling from India puts a few practical demands on a CRM: an invoice your accountant can file against your GSTIN, WhatsApp as a working sales channel, SMS through a DLT-registered sender, and phone numbers stored with +91 so calls connect on every provider. Each item alongside says what Autocloz does about it and where your own setup is still needed.

  • Invoices: a PDF for every paid charge, carrying the GSTIN and state from your billing profile; when it carries GST, that state decides between CGST and SGST or IGST.
  • WhatsApp: connect a number through Meta in the browser, including one you already use in the WhatsApp Business app, with Meta billing message charges to your own account.
  • SMS: an MSG91 sender refuses to send without a DLT-registered Sender ID and a Flow ID; registering them with DLT remains your job.
  • Phone numbers: a CSV of local numbers will not import until you pick a default country or map a country-code column, so 09876543210 with India selected is stored as +919876543210.
  • Timezone: a new workspace starts on UTC; set Asia/Kolkata so the sending day and business hours follow Indian time, because the abbreviation IST is rejected as ambiguous.
How it works

The detail.

Priced in rupees, not converted from dollars

Growth, Pro and Scale each carry a rupee price set directly in the plan catalogue, and Razorpay charges them in rupees. The dollar figures on the pricing page are separate list prices for visitors outside India, not the source of the rupee ones. Lifetime is the exception: its rupee figure is derived from its dollar price.

The invoice is issued when the charge settles

Autocloz issues its own invoice PDF once Razorpay reports a charge as paid, emails it to your billing email and keeps it downloadable under Billing. It carries the legal name, GSTIN and state from your billing profile, an HSN/SAC code, and the total in words using lakh and crore. Invoice numbers run in sequence within each April-to-March financial year.

Subscriptions and credit packs are different purchases

The plan is a recurring Razorpay subscription; AI credits are one-time packs you buy when you need them, and they do not expire. Keeping them separate means a month of heavy AI usage does not change your recurring bill, and a plan you downgrade does not take prepaid credit with it. Packs are optional, because AI can run on your own OpenAI, Anthropic or Groq key instead.

The gotcha: a halted renewal drops you to Free

A paid plan renews against the mandate the payer authorised at checkout, whether that was UPI AutoPay, an e-mandate or a card. If Razorpay reports the subscription as halted, Autocloz moves the workspace to the Free plan's limits of 5 seats and 10 mailboxes. Confirm the mandate is still valid before a renewal date rather than after it.

FAQ

Specific to this feature.

Is the price in INR, or converted from a USD list price?

+

Growth is ₹1,999, Pro ₹4,999 and Scale ₹14,999 a month, set in rupees in the plan catalogue rather than converted at checkout. Annual billing is twelve months less 25%, so Pro billed annually comes to ₹44,991. A subscriber stays on the Razorpay plan they started on, so a later list-price change does not alter what an existing subscription is charged.

Do I get a GST invoice?

+

You get an invoice PDF for every paid charge, carrying the GSTIN and state you enter under Billing. When Autocloz's own GST registration is set on the invoice, it shows CGST and SGST for a buyer in the same state and IGST otherwise; without it, the document states that no tax was charged. GSTIN is optional, and leaving it blank marks you as an unregistered (B2C) buyer.

Which payment methods work?

+

Plans and credit packs are paid through Razorpay Checkout in rupees, and Autocloz does not restrict which methods Checkout offers. A recurring plan is authorised as a mandate, such as UPI AutoPay, an e-mandate or a card, on Growth, Pro and Scale alike.

Does Autocloz register my DLT headers and templates?

+

No. DLT registration of your entity, sender IDs and templates happens outside Autocloz, and nothing is submitted to a DLT portal on your behalf. What Autocloz enforces is the result: an MSG91 SMS sender will not send without a 6-character DLT-registered Sender ID and a Flow ID, and the error names whichever is missing. SMS templates also carry a field for the DLT template ID.

Can I keep using the WhatsApp Business app on my phone?

+

Yes. When connecting, choose Use my WhatsApp Business app number rather than the standard option. Facebook confirms the number with a code sent to the app, the number keeps working on the phone, and messages sent from the phone also appear in Autocloz. Up to 180 days of chat history can be synced once if you choose to share it; the phone's contact book is not imported as leads.

Who pays for WhatsApp messages?

+

For a number connected through Meta, Meta bills message charges to the payment method on your own WhatsApp Business account, not to Autocloz. Your Autocloz plan sets a daily WhatsApp sending volume instead, shown for each plan on the pricing page.

Do quiet hours follow Indian time?

+

They follow the timezone saved on the sender, or on a campaign override, and the add-sender form fills that timezone from your browser. SMS and call senders start with a night-time quiet window, while WhatsApp senders start with none. Check the timezone on any sender connected from a machine set to another zone.

What does Autocloz not do for Indian businesses?

+

It does not file GST returns, generate e-invoice IRNs or verify a GSTIN against the GST portal; a GSTIN is only checked for its 15-character format. It does not check numbers against TRAI's National Customer Preference Register, register DLT headers, or connect Exotel, Knowlarity or Ozonetel. Invoice PDFs print Latin characters only, so a legal name in Devanagari will not appear as typed.

What happens if I cancel?

+

Only the workspace owner can cancel, under Billing. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and the workspace keeps its paid plan until the end of the period already paid for, then moves to the Free plan's limits. Payments are final and are not refunded or pro-rated.

In depth

The full story.

For a business billed in India, the useful questions about a CRM subscription are practical ones: which currency the card or UPI mandate is charged in, whether the invoice carries your GSTIN and place of supply, and what happens to the account if Razorpay halts the subscription. On Autocloz the answers are rupees, yes, and a move to the Free plan's limits.

The same workspace carries the India-specific details of outbound. A WhatsApp step sends an approved template in its own language, Hindi included, and a broadcast sends one approved template to a whole list now or on a schedule; both still pass the DNC list, opt-in checks and plan limits that govern every other channel. A CSV of local mobile numbers imports as +91 once India is chosen as the default country.
