What it does

Click-to-call places calls through your Twilio account and logs them to the contact record automatically. SMS sends from your registered numbers, and inbound replies including STOP are captured and written to the workspace suppression list, which blocks every other channel too.

Because the account is yours, the 10DLC brand and campaign registration are yours as well. If you stop using Autocloz, the numbers and their registration stay where they are.

Setting it up

  1. Create a Twilio account and buy the numbers you intend to use.
  2. Complete 10DLC brand and campaign registration for US traffic, and equivalent registration elsewhere.
  3. Add your Twilio credentials in Autocloz.
  4. Map numbers to workspaces and set quiet hours for each target region.
  5. Run a test call and a test SMS before enrolling contacts.

Limits worth knowing

  • Throughput is set by your 10DLC campaign approval, not by your Autocloz plan.
  • Unregistered A2P traffic is increasingly blocked outright and can incur per-message carrier fees.
  • Twilio charges you directly for usage; Autocloz adds no per-message markup.
  • Public link shorteners in SMS are commonly filtered — use a branded domain.

Common questions

Can I use Plivo or another provider instead?

Yes. Plivo and several others are supported under the same bring-your-own-account model.

Who pays for the messages?

You pay Twilio directly at their rates. Autocloz does not resell or mark up usage.

Does a STOP reply block email too?

Yes. Inbound STOP writes to the workspace suppression list, which every channel checks before dispatch.
